Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 1, 2026
Buzzly Inc. ("us", "we", or "our") operates the buzzly.co website, the Buzzly mobile apps, and the Buzzly service (together, the "Service").
This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. Unless otherwise defined here, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible from https://buzzly.co/terms.
Information Collection And Use
We collect several different types of information to provide and improve the Service.
Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personal Data may include, but is not limited to:
- Email address
- First and last name
- Phone number(s)
- Address, state, province, zip/postal code, city
- Cookies and Usage Data
Call and Messaging Data
Buzzly works by handling calls from your building's buzzer. To do that, we collect and process data about those calls and related messages, including:
- The phone number of your buzzer and of callers who reach your Buzzly Number
- Call metadata such as the time, duration, and outcome of each call
- The content of text messages sent to or received on your Buzzly Number
We do not record or store call audio. When a call is connected through the Service, the audio passes through our telephony providers in real time to connect you with your caller, the same way it would on any phone call. We do not listen to, record, or keep it.
Some of this data relates to people who are not Buzzly customers, such as a visitor who presses your buzzer or a caller who dials your Buzzly Number. We process that data only to provide the Service to you, such as connecting the call, applying your entry preferences, and showing you your call history.
Usage Data
We may also collect information about how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address), browser or app type and version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, push notification tokens, and other diagnostic data.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data which are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, some parts of the Service will not work.
